What is a Tundra
The tundra is the coldest of all biomes. The word tundra comes from the Finnish word tuntun which mean treeless plain. It has extremely low temperatures and it has little precipitation. There is low biodiversity and there is a lot of permafrost. Caribou, arctic hares and squirrel, arctic foxes, wolves, and polar bears.
