Biomes

What are Biomes?

A Biome is an environment that is defined by its climate, soil, and wildlife. A biome often has animals and plants that are specifically adapted to living in it. Like how a polar bear is adapted to living in the cold. If you take an animal out of its biome and put it in another it will probably end up dying because it is only adapted to living in the biome it was in before. Like if you take a freshwater bass out of fresh water and put it in the ocean it would not survive too long because it is not adapted to the saltwater.
