Geographical Range: Southern Mexico to Peru, Bolivia, eastern Brazil, and the Island of Trinidad.

The Scarlet Macaw is a bird that roams the jungles of the Brazilian Amazon rainforest. They have extremely strong, hooked beaks that help crack open nuts found in the rainforest. These birds are some of the most famous parrot-like birds and are known for their exhilarating colors. It is mostly bright red with some blue, yellow, white, and black in it. They breed every two years and are monogamous. They are least concerned with conservation and are very popular at zoos and aquariums.
